The Women's Choice Awards Africa were established to give women the power to choose and honor individuals who contribute to the sovereignty of people of all genders, races, and tongues. This event highlights works that are bridging the gender divide in all aspects of life; it projects women and men who have stood tall in the face of gender imbalance and stereotypes; and it recognizes individuals who are contributing to the empowerment of women on the African continent and around the world. The purpose of honoring these outstanding individuals is to encourage more of their accomplishments and initiatives. More importantly, this aims to normalise female excellence in the eyes of the next generation of leaders. Allow them to witness these remarkable achievements.
